- Understanding Crypto Mining BasicsNov 25, 2025
Mining crypto involves a competitive process where you verify and add new transactions to a blockchain, especially in proof-of-work systems. Whoever wins gets paid in the currency and/or transaction fees. And hey, if…
- Spondoolies SP20 Mining DiscussionMar 24, 2025
Current setup shows I'm running low settings. My fan's at 40, still loud but manageable. Voltage on boards is set to.062.
- Launch of Nuggets Coin What to Expect?Jul 24, 2024
LMAO, the big miners just got a massive boost. They’re gonna crush the small miners. It’s like a lottery for them and just a regular payout for the big guys. Congrats on the launch though. Now let’s see you make that…
- Overview of USB Stick MinersApr 4, 2023
I’m really rooting for Avalon. If they keep making good gear, I’ll definitely buy from them.
- Setting Up Our Solar ArrayJun 25, 2022
This setup is beautiful! What’s the timeframe to pay off all the gear and start making profit? Good luck, looking forward to seeing you guys succeed!
- Discussion on the New Antminer S4+Jan 5, 2022
Not sure about that. If you have a big setup, this miner could actually be a solid choice because of the hash rate it offers.
- Discussion on the New Antminer S4+Jan 3, 2022
Not sure I totally agree. Home miners are looking at 220/240 options now, which is awesome. This lets them plan for the future. Also, if you're at 0.15 KWH, hosting centers might be a better bet to save on costs.
Man, I’d love to get one for under a grand. But shipping’s gonna be killer.
Yeah, that 1000W PSU is probably adding some unnecessary weight to the price.
Check this out... 2.7 TH/s hash rate, 697W power consumption, and built-in PSU. Sounds kinda cool if true.
Lol, your theories keep getting wilder. Why would anyone switch?
Why would anyone create an exact clone of Bitcoin? Just for a name change? People wouldn’t just ditch BTC for that.
Lol, I seriously thought you just made those numbers to confuse us. Tried to think like you for a sec, Vlad. It’s scary!
I think XBT stands for the World Currency, and XIC could just be crypto in general. The murder reference is after the BTC ETF, and the evil number stuff links back to all the 1's and 0's we see everywhere.
- Need help gathering mining data for my ThesisApr 23, 2019
What about using data from mining pools? Or just look at the blockchain? Different pools yield different results unless you're doing a PPS model. Just pick a pool and stick with their data.
I’m with you on that. People talk about this idea a lot, but I rarely see anyone actually pull it off. Excited to see how your project turns out.
What kind of coolant you using? Like, is it for electrical equipment or something different? Seems like you’d need a lot.
That area is massive for cooling fans on the radiator, man. Props for sharing this. How many miners do you plan to connect to this setup? And what coolant are you gonna use?
No problem! Hoping it sparks some interest from others.
I wanna do the same! Got it running great with cgminer now, but bfgminer sounds fun to try.
