Just wanted to share some thoughts on USB stick miners. They’re not for everyone but I think they have their niche. If you’re chasing high ROI, you might wanna look for something else.

Feel free to throw in any corrections or new info you guys have about these miners. I'm all ears. If you’re selling or designing one, drop me a PM or comment here.
So, if you really want a StickMiner, check the main post for price links. There are a few sellers around, not just the common ones.
I had a chat with some folks about why I steer people away from StickMiners if they want ROI. Honestly, if you’re serious about making money, you need something fast and cheaper. StickMiners aren't it.
Gotta give a nod to the Block Erupter USB. It basically started this whole USB miner trend. It’s wild to think how much it impacted the scene.
Is this thread just for Bitcoin miners? I mean I found this DualMiner 2, but it feels more like a novelty item than a solid investment.
Time for a little rant here. More users should jump in and edit the wiki. It’s a great spot for info that doesn’t change much, unlike this thread that gets updated constantly.
Did some cleanup today. Merged a few posts and got some new Q&A in the main post for clarity. Thanks to all who contributed.
KNC’s chips are exclusive to them, so forget about that new 16nm tech unless you’re in their good books. They’re pretty much controlling the market.
Yeah, KNC talks a lot, but they don’t deliver much. It seems like the mining hardware game is all about big companies now, not the little guys.
Where can I find more info on that?
Start with the main post linked here. Should give you a good grounding!
I’ve gotta say, I see a lot of junk ideas out there. Like those embedded miners getting mocked. They seem super sketchy to me.
The NanoFury 2 just dropped. $51.20, not bad for a USB miner. Anyone thinking of grabbing one?
Just a heads-up, the Avalon Nano sold out. They might restock, but no word yet on the Mini.
I’m really rooting for Avalon. If they keep making good gear, I’ll definitely buy from them.
Updated on the GekkoScience Compac. You can get them for $25 each minus shipping. Bulk orders, cool!
Still not much on the Avalon Mini news, but they hinted at a new version. Chrome App for controls sounds exciting.
Last call for the GekkoScience Compac orders. Don’t miss out if you’re interested!
