Big shoutout to everyone who helped out with this project. Couldn't have done it without your support, whether it was reviews, discussions, or just buying the product. Special thanks to TheRealSteve for that amazing design and to Luke-Jr for his contributions.
Just a heads up, those sample sticks aren’t compatible with BFG or cgminer-gekko yet. The new software uses unique strings for IDing. The Icarus driver doesn't handle that, so it identifies as a U3 on stock cgminer, which is the closest it recognizes.
Phil, can you run Linux? If you can, I might have a version of the software ready that initializes the ramp without checking the serial number. Let me know if you want me to share it.
Totally cool! Just wasn’t sure if you had a Raspberry Pi or something to work with. If you need help with cgminer, reach out. You’ll need zadig on Windows too.
Okay, I have no idea how to set up a USB stick. Can someone give me dumbed down directions? Like, I’ve only used plug-and-play miners before. I run Ubuntu with Putty for monitoring.
I’m prepping my software too even though my sticks aren’t in yet. Running into issues with Minera on my Pi, though. The bfgminer version with it is too old. I need at least 5.3.0, but my builds keep failing.
