You’re always talking numbers but where are the solutions? If 90% of households can’t save anything after bills, what’s the actual fix here? Let’s hear your thoughts.
Back in the day, people could save a little after paying their bills, maybe even buy a house someday. Now it seems like nobody can save anything. In Greece, recent stats show almost 90% of families can’t stash away even…

I had a similar problem with Amazon once. Bought a gift card with crypto and right after I added it, they restricted my account. No way to fix it unless I faxed them documents. That was back in 2018 and I bet they still…
- Why do so many people struggle with poverty?Jan 27, 2026
About those ghost names, I think that’s a bit overstated. There’s better tracking now, and those issues are less common. However, corruption in other areas definitely keeps people down.
The West doesn’t really support genuine revolutions anywhere. Sanctions on Iran mean we could get in serious trouble for even sending money there. It’s not easy for Iranians to trade cash for crypto either, so these…
For sure, I totally agree. First off, yeah, less foot traffic usually signals trouble economically. But history doesn’t always repeat itself, you know? Maybe the decline is a result of something else, like changing biz…
Checked out this vid about Las Vegas tourism. Apparently, the fall in visitors has only happened this much before during the Great Depression. Could this actually hint at an upcoming recession?

Yeah, you really need to get into the contracts for power. If it’s that cheap, I’m surprised more haven’t moved there yet.
The elites have hoarded wealth through property for ages. They’d rather keep spaces empty than let prices drop. It’s a way to keep the little guy struggling with rent.
So now that Binance and others have shut out EU users from options and futures, where can we go? I'm not into fake casino stuff, just need real markets with legit orderbooks. KYC is a pain too, any other sites still…

Szabo's opinion is just that his opinion. You don’t have to take it as gospel. But, like usual, he raises some interesting points.
Honestly, don’t care if it’s the real Szabo or just some verified account. Still confused why he's endorsing Knots. It sounds like it filters out legit transactions.
a) Clearly, it makes a difference, or he wouldn't be pushing it. b) Or maybe he has no clue what he's talking about.
How does your setup stack up against layer 2 solutions like Lightning or sidechains? I mean, you mentioned instant transactions, so is everything off-chain?
I think any move toward peace is good news. War is never good for the economy or human life.

What's up with calling native BTC sBTC? Bitcoin doesn’t have DeFi, and any gateway for using BTC in DeFi seems too centralized. With all the recent hacks, I think it’s better to stay away.

Are they really going to just erase the only 256-bit calculator we have? There's still ways to make it safe, even if ECDSA fails.

I got into Bitcoin back in 2014 and we were having the same worries then! Hardware might be better now, but it's still not enough.

Yeah but wind and solar need a lot of land. Plus, if we keep using gas and coal alongside renewables, we may still need them for emergencies when the wind isn't blowing or the sun isn't shining.
