Why do so many people struggle with poverty?

Seeing people begging for help is really sad. I can't help but wonder why so many end up in such dire situations. I can't tell if it's the government's fault or if individuals have some responsibility too. Here are my thoughts on why poverty is so widespread: 1. Health issues 2. Poor education 3. Debt 4. Unemployment 5. Corruption 6. Geographic factors

Lack of knowledge is a huge reason people stay poor. If everyone had the right info and exposure, maybe more would find a way out. Can't have everyone rich though, or life wouldn’t balance out. But poverty is definitely not ideal.

Ghost names on the list surprised me. That screams corruption! When officials pocket funds meant for development, it keeps people in poverty. Corruption is a major issue in many countries. And let’s not forget laziness. Some folks could work but choose not to.
