Is Bitcoin the only way to tackle inflation? I doubt it. Just adopting Bitcoin won’t make inflation disappear. I see it more as a reserve asset than a reserve currency. If it’s a reserve currency, why is the supply regulated?

Sure, it’s not the only way. There are other methods to fight inflation. Bitcoin can help, but it’s just a piece of the puzzle. It won’t fix everything. It’s more like a hedge against inflation rather than a solution.

Bitcoin isn’t the best option for fighting inflation. There are tons of ways to protect your wealth. Just investing wisely and knowing the market can go a long way. If you sit on your cash, waiting for it to magically grow, you’re gonna get rekt.

True that! Investing in Bitcoin won’t stop inflation, but it can protect your funds' value. For instance, in Nigeria, Bitcoin can prevent loss of value during inflation. Like, if the Naira drops, BTC could help save your wealth.

Yeah, Bitcoin isn’t the only option out there. It’s just a popular one. If its value keeps climbing and isn’t tied to fiat, it might help maintain purchasing power.

There are plenty of ways to combat inflation like stocks or gold. Bitcoin is more of a reserve asset, not a currency like the dollar. As for decentralization, Bitcoin should stay decentralized even if regulations come into play.

But it might become harder to use if governments push their own policies. People could end up going back to centralized systems if they can’t spend their Bitcoin freely. True decentralization can be a tough road.

Inflation can’t be fully wiped out; it can only be managed. Countries use fiscal and monetary policies for that. Even if Bitcoin becomes mainstream, prices will still fluctuate due to various factors.

Exactly! Governments are more about managing inflation than eliminating it. Bitcoin is a resistance, not a cure. Debt is kind of the backbone of our world, so they’re not gonna just switch things up.

What if the US government decides how Bitcoin is defined? If I fork it and call it Bitcoin, I could get in trouble. They control the narrative around what Bitcoin really is.
