So now that Binance and others have shut out EU users from options and futures, where can we go? I'm not into fake casino stuff, just need real markets with legit orderbooks. KYC is a pain too, any other sites still offering these?
Honestly, web3 exchanges might be the way to go if MEXC isn't letting EU folks in. I've seen futures trading on Pancakeswap with use up to 200x but never tried it. Seems like a good alternative if we can’t use the usual web2 platforms.
Quick question, is this EU ban just a Binance issue or is the EU really cracking down on crypto? If it’s just Binance’s regulations, maybe we can find another exchange to use. MEXC could be decent, but what about DEX options too?
Hyperliquid seems solid. I’ve heard they have great liquidity and people are putting in some big bucks there. Plus, there’s a bunch of perpetual DEXs like Jupiter. Just gotta do some digging to find the good ones.
I was surprised too, but it’s really just stricter regulations, not a total ban. Binance has to comply since the EU is strict about these things. Not all countries are affected yet, and if Binance is blocking EU users, maybe just move to a DEX. But seriously, don’t trust MEXC or similar exchanges blindly.
Totally agree. More options where liquidity is strong is key. Not every country has these harsh rules yet, so we have some time to explore alternatives.
OP is looking for suggestions, but if he’s only known Binance, he needs to do some research on other exchanges, both centralized and decentralized. No need to jump on any recommendations if they don’t feel right.
In DeFi, there are tons of options! You can use leveraged vaults and loop assets through lending, kinda like futures trading. This is what crypto is all about giving access to a decentralized world.
Of course, it’s all up to him in the end. But telling someone to be cautious with exchanges isn’t misguiding. EU users need to be smart; exchanges could use this ban to violate terms. DEXs are the safest bet for him. I wouldn’t advise otherwise.
