So, as a seasoned futures trader, would anyone actually follow someone else's trade if they got a signal?

Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of signal groups. They pop up everywhere on social media, and most of them are scams asking for money. I just avoid them like the plague.

I prefer to rely on my own analysis. Those free signal groups often just want you to pay for their ‘premium’ service, which I also avoid. Always better to stick to what you know.

Hey, if someone's got a solid free signal, I’d be up for that. Even a small profit is better than none, right? Let’s see how that group performs over a week.

Check this out: someone shared their results from that signal group. The admin doesn’t send many signals, but those I’ve seen seem pretty good.

I trade on multiple exchanges. Sometimes I’ll long on one and short on another. I share my wins with others, and that might make people think I’m legit. Just saying, those big gains can be misleading.

Yup, a lot of traders rely on others' signals because they feel insecure. They think it lowers their risk, but honestly, if you don’t do your homework, you’ll get wrecked.

If I find a signal, I don’t just jump in. I analyze it first to see if it makes sense. Trusting strangers online is a gamble in itself.

Futures trading? Not my thing. I prefer spot trading to avoid liquidating my balance. Futures feel like gambling to me.

#10 Mar 19, 2026, 01:25 PM Without solid skills, trading can totally feel like gambling. And those groups with good signals? Usually not free.

#11 Mar 21, 2026, 06:57 AM It comes down to knowledge and trust. Do you believe in the signal? Or do you just ignore it? It’s a risk either way.

#12 Mar 21, 2026, 01:07 PM True, signal providers can be misleading. Some might even set up fake signals. Why would they share if they’re not getting something in return?

#13 Mar 21, 2026, 05:43 PM I think paid signal groups are mostly useless. Free ones can be good for practice, but newbies should definitely do their own research.

#14 Mar 21, 2026, 10:06 PM People don’t always follow good advice. Everyone knows they should learn to trade, but shortcuts are tempting. Signals seem easier, right?

#15 Mar 23, 2026, 12:44 PM Why trust a stranger’s signal? Experienced traders usually don’t copy others. Who knows if that person is for real or just messing around?

#16 Mar 23, 2026, 05:54 PM I trust reputable signals but always confirm with my own analysis. Relying too much makes you lazy. It’s good to learn from other traders.

#17 Mar 23, 2026, 09:03 PM Spot on. I look for signals but always use them to back up my own analysis. Google and YouTube are great for that.

#18 Mar 25, 2026, 02:49 AM I don’t even look at a signal before testing it. You need knowledge first. Psychology plays a big role too.

#19 Mar 25, 2026, 03:49 AM Greed often leads to quick losses. If you don’t know how to trade, following signals is a risky business.

#20 Mar 25, 2026, 10:07 AM Experienced traders shouldn’t just copy trades. They know better than to believe in something too good to be true.
