Checked out this vid about Las Vegas tourism. Apparently, the fall in visitors has only happened this much before during the Great Depression. Could this actually hint at an upcoming recession?

I mean, it’s an interesting point but not super reliable. Just because foot traffic is down doesn’t mean a crisis is imminent. It’s all about luxury spending and uncertainty. We shouldn’t read too much into one factor.

Yeah, exactly. There've been reports on this before too. Like, just six months ago they were saying tourism was already way down. So how long after this drop do we expect a crisis to hit? It’s more of an indicator than a solid predictor.

For sure, I totally agree. First off, yeah, less foot traffic usually signals trouble economically. But history doesn’t always repeat itself, you know? Maybe the decline is a result of something else, like changing biz models in casinos because of economy shifts.

And don’t forget about online gaming. A lot of folks are just opting for that these days. Cheaper and easier than flying to Vegas. I know it's fun to visit, but the home options are just too tempting.
