  • So the title covers it all. Just here to learn, not super technical, you know? What’s the deal with Core V30, Knots, and OP_RETURN? Some people are saying some pretty wild stuff.

  • Nothing shocks me anymore. This is why everyone says DYOR, right? I watch plenty of influencer videos but I never take their word as gospel. I pick coins based on what I’ve learned, not just following along like sheep.…

  • Yo! Yeah, you can do that, as far as I know. Someone asked something similar here a while back, and NotATether had some good tips. Definitely worth a shot, it should work for ya!

  • Dude, Bitcoin Core on Windows is risky business. My stuff slows down too but I've got a solid machine 16GB RAM, Intel i7... I just run it on Linux now for better performance.

  • It should support QoS, will check when I get home. Router’s old anyway. I didn’t buy it, got it from my ISP, so I doubt it’s top-notch.

  • Lol, I messed with the settings and now it's downloading everything again from scratch! What a pain. It’ll be ages at my slow speed. Been there with my old laptop, didn’t cause this mess.

  • Not sure... I think I got a better package but who knows if it’s active. No wired connection living in a rural area with only one ISP sucks.

  • Nope! I use qBittorrent and it never causes issues like this. Everything else works fine except Bitcoin Core consuming like it’s starving or something.

  • Right? Like everything just freezes till I close it. I thought limiting the bandwidth would work. Maybe I should just run it overnight when I’m not using the internet. But man, it’s hitting like 15 Mbps! You think…

  • So... whenever I run Bitcoin Core, my connection goes down the drain. Can’t even use other apps, like seriously. Even my phone shows "Connected, no internet"! Is that normal? When I close it, everything's fine again.

  • I didn’t change anything major. Just followed the defaults. Had to reinstall Core before, messed something up then. It was a one-off error, didn’t think much of it until now. Oh, I did change maxuploadtarget, but that's…

  • Off topic, but I had a different error with Core a few days ago. Closed it down, then later opened it and got some weird errors. Could it be because I didn’t shut it down properly? Restarting fixed it, but still...

  • He clearly didn’t know that importing seeds would make his wallet hot. I think he just trusted the hardware wallet too much. It’s a hard lesson learned for sure.

  • Got an update! ELLIPAL responded to the guy’s email! He thought his wallet was cold, but he accidentally made it hot by importing seeds. Who knew the colors meant that? He’s trying to contact everyone for help. I hope…

  • Man, 8 years of saving, and just like that, poof! 3 million gone. That’s just brutal! Watching him struggle to hold back tears was tough. But seriously, how did this hack even happen? If he didn’t check his wallet…

  • Hey, just wanted to let you know we got a tenth translation done in Turkish. It’s looking great!

  • Totally agree, and the newbies really need guidance. But sometimes, even experienced traders lead them astray. It's a messy cycle.

  • Last time ZEC almost hit $1k, it was all hype. It dropped hard after that... I made some quick profits but then lost out when I didn’t sell. Now, who knows? If privacy coins trend again, maybe ZEC will rise, but I’m…

  • Wow, multiple ATHs in one season? This is wild! With everything happening globally, it feels like anything is possible for Bitcoin now.

  • Totally get what you mean, but let’s be realistic. Stable prices are a fairytale, especially in developing countries. I’d rather focus on higher income growth instead.
