Had a pretty wild ride with my BTC stuck due to a multi-signature wallet issue on Guarda. It's a 2-of-2 setup with my buddy, so we both need to sign to send out BTC. But for the last few months, there was this bug where transactions created by one party just didn’t show up for the other. So all my BTC was just... stuck. And the Guarda team kept saying they were working on a fix. Pretty frustrating.

So, it wasn't like my friend lost his private key or something. The bug just made it impossible for him to see the transaction I was trying to create. I mean, I could sign it, but he wouldn’t see it on his end. We were basically just left hanging, unable to withdraw any of our funds.

Exactly. I’d create the transaction, but it was like sending a message that never got delivered. So confusing! Plus, when we tried to switch to Electrum to input our private keys, our multi-sig wallet didn’t even show up there. We were stuck in this endless loop of trying to figure it out.

Hey! I’m in a similar boat. I’ve got coins locked in a 2-of-3 multi-sig wallet too, but it’s been like 30 months since I last saw them. The marketplace I was using shut down, and now I can’t get to my coins. They gave us redeem scripts before closing, but I couldn’t get it to work, so I guess I’m just waiting for the auto-release.

Man, that sounds rough. I think those redeem scripts usually need all three public keys or whatever, right? So if you’re missing a valid signature, you might be out of luck. Just a total mess.

I feel you on that. I’ve got about 5k stuck in USDT and TRON on Guarda, and I can't send them out either. Anyone got tips for this? I really don’t wanna lose my funds.

Seriously, everyone needs to be careful with any JS tools like these multisig wallets. They can change code at any moment or have hidden online elements. Just this year, a huge exchange lost a ton due to a JS wallet hack. You think downloading it right before using it helps, but it could be swapped right before you grab it. Trust issues, ya know?
