So I just saw that GoMining partnered with Jacob & Co to launch this pricey watch and mining rig combo. Only 100 of them and it's 40 grand each... crazy right?

For real. They didn't specify how long the mining access lasts... one day, one year? If it’s short-term, that’s a terrible deal. And with power costs, I doubt you’ll make $7k a year off it.

Yeah but come on, this is blatant marketing. They're just cashing in on Bitcoin to sell overpriced stuff. If that mining power is free forever, maybe it’d be worth it? But I think they’ll pull a fast one eventually.

It’s like, 40 bucks a day or around 14k a year? But wait, costs come into play... a mining rig eats power, like 6 bucks a day? So you're down to around $7k net.

You ain't even factoring in the cost of the gear. Plus the people running this mine take a cut. You might see some returns, but not much.

Honestly, it feels like they just want to profit from gullible buyers. I mean, you could set up a mini mining farm for that price instead of buying a watch that might not even appreciate.

For 42k, I could snag 4 miners and have a legit setup. After two years, there’s a decent chance at hitting a block. Way better than this watch nonsense.

The concept seems ridiculous... sell anything with a hashrate? If I want a watch, I know where to go, but I’d rather buy ASICs from a reliable source.

This is actually a better deal than their last release. That Jacob & Co. watch was way overpriced at nearly 350k for just 25 pieces. This one's got 100 and could be decent if the mining offer is legit.

Doubt they’ll do a long-term deal though. This is all about profit for them. If you get 1 PH/s for three years, maybe you break even, but I’m not betting on that.

Reminds me of those old phone companies claiming blockchain partnerships... all hype, no delivery. People lost money while the company raked it in.

Consider me skeptical. This seems sketchy and bound to fail. They’re just milking Bitcoin’s appeal. Rich folks might get burned.

Haha, this situation is classic. Grab anyone willing to drop $40k for a fancy clock, right? Meanwhile, the mining model's outdated.

Can’t help but think this is just a cash grab. Cloud mining hasn’t been sustainable in years. This might flop hard.

Jacob & Co better have a solid guarantee that GoMining won’t bail on their promises. If it’s like other cloud mining, it could end badly.

Why deceive people? Seems like easy money for GoMining while they sell overpriced watches. It’s a no-brainer for them.

Honestly, I don’t see how this isn’t a scam. Luxury brands using Bitcoin just to make a quick buck. It’s not even clever.

Luxury goods have their markups, sure, but they thrive on trends. Mining gear can be bought for less without the flash, so it's not really a fair comparison.
