- Can Trump Really Impact Bitcoin Prices?Jul 6, 2026
Honestly, isn’t it obvious by now? The financial market’s been wild since Trump took office. Just look at how fast Bitcoin plunged below $100k recently. Price manipulation’s real!
It’s like using high-frequency trading tactics on a decentralized network. Going for volume and speed might rack up more rewards than waiting for each block to be perfect.
- Is Bitcoin Really Private or Just Pseudonymous?Apr 22, 2026
Most AI out there is just fancy data gathering. It doesn’t really add anything to discussions here. And each user sees Bitcoin differently based on their needs.
- What's Missing in Bitcoin Mining Right Now?Mar 14, 2026
Energy waste and heat are the real problems. Everything we do generates heat, which can hurt the system's efficiency. Even if chips get better, high electricity costs ruin profit margins everywhere. Like, what’s the…
Curious why you care about where your past transactions were broadcasted? Just wondering.
I hear you, but what I'm really asking is if I can look back at a transaction from a few weeks ago and find out which node sent it out into the wild. I've done some digging, but it seems impossible... still looking for…
Core 30 didn’t change much, it’s still limited to that previous payload size. No reason not to update, right?
- Adding a Coins Tab for UTXOs in Bitcoin CoreFeb 21, 2026
Nice work! It’s great to see how open source lets us make these adjustments. Not super urgent, but still a neat fix. Quick question though, will your changes work with pre-existing dialogue boxes? Sometimes I gotta…
Been using Electrum for ages, can't even recall when I started. I've been pondering the whole fee/dust limit thing lately and I wonder... is there any way to find out which node I used to broadcast a specific…
Honestly, isn’t that impressive? I mean, 3,138.48 is no joke.
- Need Help! My Electrum Wallet Won't SyncJan 13, 2026
Honestly, I hardly ever have syncing issues with Electrum. It's usually my internet or router acting up. After you launch the wallet, check how many nodes you're connected to. If it’s under 8, it might not sync properly.
- Top IQ Guy Says Bitcoin Will Hit $220k SoonNov 19, 2025
Does being smart mean you’re a good economist? Everyone’s bias affects their predictions. I think we’re in a downtrend, so who really knows.
- What if a Node Syncs with a Bad UTXO Set?Oct 26, 2025
Yep, and since nodes are all connected, they’ll reject corrupted UTXOs as they sync up. A new node will build its set from scratch and validate each transaction, so a messed-up UTXO from a peer doesn’t matter.
I doubt more outbound peers will speed up syncing much. Bitcoin Core and Knot already fetch blocks in parallel from the best peers. After about 10 connections, the benefits are probably minimal, while CPU and network…
Thanks for clearing that up! "Segregated" sounds better than just "separate". Most of what I said was from what I absorbed when I was new. I think I read about 'getwitnesstx' in some older Bitcoin Core version. Anyway,…
I think you’re right about pruning the Witness structure, but it doesn’t mess with block verification. New nodes can still check a block's validity using txids and the Merkle tree. SegWit doesn’t get rid of witness…
- Diving Deep into UTXO MechanicsSep 2, 2025
Bitcoin's a public ledger, meaning spent coins are marked as such. Nodes use timestamps and other data to confirm coins are legit and haven’t been spent before.
- How much can you actually put in OP_RETURN?Aug 18, 2025
I doubt there's a specific OP_RETURN size that makes a block invalid. Those 75, 80, and 83 bytes are standardness rules for relaying transactions by most nodes. A transaction can be valid if it meets consensus rules,…
- Dreaming Big: Bitcoin's Future PricesJul 18, 2025
Look, it’s just a dream. I could dream of being a rockstar too! But if we hit $250k by 2025, I’ll be surprised. It’s good to speculate, but let’s not get carried away.
- Issues with BTC Transfer Between WalletsJul 13, 2025
Man, I checked that transaction too, and it’s not adding up. There’s over 20 BTC in there, with one input, and yeah, multiple outputs. Sounds like maybe some change addresses got mixed up or something. Did you really…
