Hey all, I've got an Omni-USDT balance that I'm trying to work with. The new Tether policy for a $1M minimum redemption is a real pain. Looking for a whale or recovery service that can help batch smaller amounts to reach that $1M mark. Here’s what I need: 1. A chance to combine redemptions. 2. Or a solid OTC buyout at a decent discount, like 20-40% off. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: I’m not sending any funds first. Only dealing through reputable escrow services or legit platforms. No migration links or seed phrases, please.

I think you’ve got it twisted... Tether’s docs say the min redemption is actually $100k, not $1M. But the real issue is that they’re stopping redemptions for Omni USDT and freezing tokens after 2025. If you've got Omni USDT in 2026, that batching plan might be pointless since the window will be closed.

Who still trusts Tether after this? If they can just change the rules, what’s stopping them on other chains?

According to their team, they’re asking for a million to redeem.

All stablecoins can be frozen, minted or burned by the issuer. Might not be ideal but that’s the deal. If they suspect any tokens are linked to crime, they gotta have a way to freeze them. It’s just compliance, that’s how it works and it’s been the norm for ages.

This sounds like a dead end; no new stablecoins will be made on those old protocols. Sending funds is still possible, though.

We’re specifically after USDT on the Omni Network (BTC Layer). Most exchanges dropped support for Omni assets, leaving early holders in a tough spot. We’ve got **500,000 USDT** and need another **500,000 USDT** to hit the **1,000,000 USDT** minimum for offline redemption. Anyone still holding USDT on Omni, join us! Let’s combine forces and get this redemption done.

500k and a Telegram? That raises some flags, right?

What’s your plan to cash out? Tether’s official requirement is still 1 million to exchange. If you find a better way, I’m not interested in forums or Telegrams.

My "better way" is never allowing myself to be at the mercy of a private company and their so-called stablecoin. It might not fix your issue, but raising $500k this way? That’s a lot to ask. Why not just set up a website to lay everything out clearly?
