So, USDT is back to Bitcoin but via the lightning network? I thought they were done with it after omni.

Yeah, they’re trying to get back in the game. If exchanges hop on board, we could see more stablecoins popping up on Bitcoin.

Gotta say, this is pretty cool. More options are always welcome, especially if it means cheaper fees.

But does anyone really trust USDT anymore? With all the EU bans, maybe they’re just desperate.

True, profit must be taking a hit. Maybe lightning is the way to go for off-chain transactions.

I don’t see many exchanges rushing to support this though. Withdrawals are where they make money.

Fair point. But if they push this, it might create a more efficient way to handle USDT.

I think USDT on LN could definitely give altcoins a run for their money. Lower fees are a big deal.

But can we really trust USDT long-term? It has risks... remember, most stablecoins can be frozen.

I mean, LN isn’t just for Bitcoin anymore. This could legitimize it, right?

Seriously? LN feels like a failed experiment. Look at the adoption or lack thereof.

Yeah, it’s been seven years and it’s not that great. Why would anyone lock value with middlemen?

I've changed my mind after diving into Bitcoin stuff. I’m curious about Liquid now.

What’s there to understand? LN just doesn’t work like people thought. It’s complicated.

You’re overthinking it. Setting it up is hard but it’s useful for quick buys.

Seriously? You think LN is a real solution? It’s just a band-aid.

We need to rethink what Bitcoin is used for. Is it payments or wealth storage?

Both, but let’s not lose sight of what makes Bitcoin unique.

So, we’re just gonna ignore that a lot of LN transactions feel like credit card transactions?

Isn’t that the whole point? Speed and ease for end users.
