Trying to open my wallet in Core v26 and it just hangs. Same issue in v25 too. No logs, nothing happens, then the menu closes. I've rebooted and reinstalled. Anyone else faced this?

You sure the debug.log is empty? You tried checking Event Viewer or any logs from your OS? Maybe install it on a different disk? I'm just wondering if there's something specific causing this error or if it's been like this since day one.
Could be the wallet file isn't compatible with this version. Got enough space on your drive where Bitcoin Core is installed?
Make sure you're looking in the right place for the debug.log. It should be in the Bitcoin data directory. If you set a custom data directory, check there. Also, share the last session from the log if you can.
What if Bitcoin Core can't write to the data directory? Have you tried launching it from the command line? It might give you some output.
Did you use a different device or maybe a VM? Also, testing with a different wallet file could help.
Corrupted database could be a reason. Did you start the full blockchain download after reinstalling? Sometimes, reindexing doesn't fix everything and starting fresh could save you trouble.
I'm on Windows 10 with Core v26. Everything else logs fine, so I doubt it's access issues. When I try to open the wallet, it just stalls. I even restarted explorer.exe to be sure.
Try using the console for loading your wallet. Go to Window -> Console and enter loadwallet "your_wallet_name". Or you can use bitcoin-cli from PowerShell.
Update: Console method worked for me! Opened Core, used the loadwallet command and it loaded fine. Still can't do it through the GUI though. Really strange.
