  • The real issue isn’t retail traders, it’s the government. People want to buy tokens if they can trade real stocks. But KYC is a must due to regulations. I’d rather focus on crypto if stocks aren’t accessible.

  • Yeah, moving to PoS doesn’t automatically make a coin a security. But it does risk centralization, which totally goes against Bitcoin’s spirit. Vitalik’s not really a player in Bitcoin development anyway, right?

  • Definitely possible, just like any tech advance. Better ASICs, improved energy sources, all that jazz. But timing and costs are the big questions. Prices for new GPUs are climbing too. It’ll be similar for ASICs, but…

  • Have you guys seen the complaints from Mountain Pine residents about a mining facility being super loud? The mayor just got them to build a noise barrier. They use Bitmain’s AntBox units there.

  • Last I heard, that deal was still in the works. Big business moves slow, especially with public companies involved. Not like DaveF just jumping in to take over NotFuzzyWarm's operations.

  • Isn't that the point of these regulations? Could save costs for big players like Binance who don’t want to set up a whole marketing squad in the UK. I doubt the government will hit them hard unless I’m missing something.

  • I see a focus on requiring firms to do better risk assessments for customers, and improve communication too. Honestly, some of these guidelines were out before this official rule drop, right?

  • Sounds cool. Are there plans for a Linux version? I’d like to give it a shot since my laptop is old. Might be interesting to see how it stacks up against Vanitygen.

  • What do you mean by secret keys? Is that the key needed for API interaction? I thought just having the API key was enough. It's been a while since I dealt with API keys, but I remember just needing to copy them into…

  • You don’t need additional scripts. The Live monitor shows only qualifying whale trades, which might be empty during low activity periods.

  • The Live button is right next to the price scale. It’s on by default, so check that out. You can also explore the Community section without logging in.

  • Yeah, I got in fine by changing my DNS. Feels odd that the API blocks stuff without showing anything. You’d think at least a basic page would load.

  • Haha, after all those losses from cases against Ripple and Binance, good luck finding anyone who wants to join them. They’re in a rough spot.

  • Depends on your view, tbh. If you're looking at volatility, higher use might be needed since crypto moves way more than gold. Exchanges love it though, higher use means higher profit for them.

  • Some folks just jumped in without realistic expectations. Getting caught up in fomo is dangerous. Time to re-evaluate and gather better info for smarter decisions.

  • War is just one factor. The bear market was inevitable, and even though Bitcoin reached great heights, it’s now fallen hard. The conflict just makes it worse.

  • Bitcoin halving moments always lead to drops. It's likely we’re in a bear cycle that’s being worsened by the war. Still, Bitcoin typically bounces back, but timing is anyone’s guess.

  • Can't see the full article without an account. But that author doesn't even have that many followers, which feels sus to me. Sounds like a clickbait headline. Not everyone trades with the same level of skill or mindset.

  • What does it mean for a government to mine for me, though? Will they track my IP? If that happens, I doubt the network will hold up. Most people won’t care until their transactions take forever to confirm.

  • What does AI even mean here? Are we talking about making prompts or training models? Seems kinda broad. Anyway, I've been using LLMs for language learning, just from guides.
