COMMUNITY DIVIDED OVER PLANS TO USE TIRES FOR BITCOIN MINING

So a crypto company in Pennsylvania is thinking about burning tires to mine Bitcoin. As if we need more smoke in our air, right?

Honestly, this is ridiculous. Who wants tire smoke in their backyard just so some miner can cash in a few bucks? I wouldn’t.

They’ll probably end up getting shut down by regulators. Burning tires creates toxic gases and with climate change being a hot topic, they’ll be in trouble.

Gotta say, the state of the world is pretty chaotic these days. Not that I support this tire burning nonsense, but it sure grabs headlines. How many tires get burnt with no one batting an eye?

Totally agree. I'm not a fan of any company that doesn’t care about the environment. We need less pollution, not more.
