Been lurking here for a while. Really learned a lot about crypto, especially Bitcoin. I used to think it was a scam targeting vulnerable folks, but my perspective has changed. This forum feels like a treasure trove of knowledge. Always wanted to get into the ethics of Bitcoin mining and how it works so I can join the convos here.

Same here, just getting my feet wet in this part of the forum. Gonna do some digging to understand crypto better. Mining seems wild, like miners racing to solve tasks for rewards. I get the basics, but tbh I wanna find more practical stuff rather than just theory.

Thanks for sharing those links! Will check them out when I have some downtime. The whole mining setup confuses me with all these long articles. Gonna take my time to really understand what goes into Bitcoin mining.

Why post a Cloud mining link? Honestly, I'd recommend removing it. That hashing24 site looks sketchy. They claim to be in crypto since 2012, but the domain was registered in 2016. Are you really promoting them? Better safe than sorry, just saying.

Good point. But you provided solid info for the original poster. OP, check out what BitMaxz said, it's useful. If you’re into reading, here’s another link to boost your Bitcoin mining knowledge.

It's not about racing. The mining process is just brute force hoping for leading zeros. Every miner has a shot based on their hash rate. Currently, the network difficulty is huge, so each hash is just a tiny chance of finding a block. If a block changes, you keep hashing with new data every so often.

My bad for posting the scam link. Thought it was legit since I got some useful info from there. Appreciate the heads-up though. Don’t wanna get a bad rep for promoting that kinda site.
