Years ago, I thought I knew it all. But now looking back, the mistakes I made back then still haunt me.

Yeah, right? Your old wallet might not be safe anymore. You could've accidentally allowed some sketchy DeFi access without even realizing it.

Totally! Use separate wallets for different things. Main wallet for serious funds and a couple others for airdrops or interacting with contracts.

Even better, don’t connect your funded wallet to sketchy sites. Protecting your funds is way more important than risking them.

So true! Newbies don’t get it. It ain't just about getting hacked, it's also about privacy issues.

Those who have kept their crypto safe for years usually know a thing or two about security. If you’re new, better to set up a fresh wallet.

Exactly! Keep one wallet for long-term storage and another for trading. And for the love of crypto, stop using web wallets!

Anonymity is key, man. Just because a wallet is popular, doesn’t mean it's safe. You could end up giving scammers what they want.

Good point! If a single wallet gets compromised, it’s a disaster. Better to have a backup.

If you can't afford a hardware wallet, use an old computer to set up an offline Electrum wallet. Trust me, it’s safer.

I've ditched my old wallets. If I feel sketchy about a wallet's security, I just create a new one and transfer my assets.

Altcoin networks are way riskier. Hackers find it easier to scam in those than in Bitcoin.

I’m not trying to throw shade at dApps, but there's hardly any solid use case I’ve seen where they actually work.

Hot wallets are just trouble waiting to happen. Even a fresh wallet ain't safe if you aren't careful.

Revoking permissions helps, but if a hacker’s got your keys, it’s game over. Always better to double-check.

That tweet you referenced is correct. Hardware wallets don’t always protect from scams if you’ve granted the wrong access.

Creating multiple wallets is smart. Just remember, each wallet needs its own backup.

I’ve been doing the separate wallet thing for a while now. It definitely pays off.

It’s key to learn how to spot scam sites. Multiple wallets won’t help if you keep connecting to dangerous ones.

MetaMask has that feature to warn you, but it’s not foolproof. Scammers are crafty and always adapting.
