So, BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF is hitting Brazil tomorrow. Just saw it on here. They'll trade their iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF on B3. Pretty big move for them.

Looks like BlackRock's serious about crypto. They manage trillions, so this feels more like a takeover than just an investment. Larry’s known for wanting control over assets, not just owning them.

Kinda scary, right? If they take over, what’s left for us retail investors? We gotta step up our Bitcoin game while we still can.
True, but I think we shouldn’t panic. There are other big players like MicroStrategy that will keep the balance. BlackRock might have power, but they won’t have total control.
Yep, IBIT39 is officially trading now. It’s a big step for them in Brazil. This ETF tracks Bitcoin’s price, so it’s definitely a way for more people to invest in crypto.
LOL, I’d say BlackRock is just trying to fleece the market. Newbies will get wrecked if they think owning an ETF is the same as holding real Bitcoin.
But Brazil has had Bitcoin ETFs for a while. This is just another player joining the scene. We’ve got Ethereum ETFs too, so it’s not like it’s a new concept.
Right, but why would anyone trade BlackRock’s ETF knowing it’s not real Bitcoin? They should just hold actual BTC. Seems way smarter.
Good point, but a lot of folks don’t want to deal with wallets and keys. ETFs are easier for those who just want exposure to Bitcoin without the hassles.
That’s why it’ll sell. More money in the stock market than crypto, and for some, buying an ETF is less of a headache than managing their own Bitcoin.

Totally. But I feel like the Brazilian government and BlackRock are just cashing in on confusion. They sell paper, not real Bitcoin. Where’s the benefit in that?
Brazil's crypto scene is huge, tho. Lots of investors want in on Bitcoin without needing to understand the tech. ETFs can offer that.
But why have so many bought BTC through ETFs if they’re not real? BlackRock’s reputation attracts people who want quick profits without the crypto hassle.
I get that, but can you prove the number of ETF investors? If Bitcoin isn’t matching the value, who’s gonna buy? Seems logical to invest when the price is right.
Check this out: BlackRock is even planning to tokenize their ETFs now. They want to bring it to the blockchain. Pretty ambitious.
So they’re trying to make ETFs digital now? Like USDT or USDC? That would be interesting if they pull it off.
But what’s the point of stock exchanges if everything’s on the blockchain? Seems like we’re just building another system under US control.
True, but stocks can be frozen too if they suspect anything shady. Tokens might have a bit more privacy for now.

I doubt BlackRock’s tokens will be treated like meme coins. There are decentralized exchanges for tokenized stocks, but I’m still unsure what’s legit.
