- Understanding Bitcoin Mining: The Real StoryMar 31, 2026
Looking back, I totally agree. GPU prices soared due to shortage back in 2016 to 2018. It was a nightmare trying to snag a decent gaming GPU.
Exactly, we need to revisit this in a few months. We’ve never seen a drop at the 18-month mark before, so let’s see how it plays out.
- Anyone else relieved Bitcoin fees are lowering?Nov 13, 2025
Just gotta hang tight. No point in rushing things right now. The market always calms down eventually.
So, you’re making like $3 here and $1.50 there after fees? For me, the hassle of coordinating all that for $3 just doesn’t seem worth it. Let’s say you’re flipping 10 times that amount… is $30 a day worth the stress?…
Well, all my buddies who tried this ended up losing everything. Either got rekt or had their funds stolen online. No joke. I’m curious how much you’re really making. Some people claim to be profiting but I suspect it’s…
Here’s my strategy: 1) Buy a big chunk, stash it in a paper wallet. 2) Grab smaller amounts for a hot wallet. 3) Spend a bit from that. 4) Refill the small stash. Rinse and repeat. Guaranteed profit, trust me.
- Is Now the Right Time to Start Mining?Apr 22, 2025
Not sure if now’s the best time to start. With the halving approaching, profits will drop. Better to buy Bitcoin now and hold instead.
Got any sources for that? Seems like most mining advice assumes cheap electricity, but renewable setups aren’t easy to get into either.
- Should You Opt for New or Used Mining Equipment?Feb 16, 2025
You can’t just wait for BTC halving to make moves. BTC will rise regardless, just needs a little nudge. Long-term investors should grab BTC now. Most people are waiting for prices to jump but forget it can drop again…
- Should You Opt for New or Used Mining Equipment?Feb 15, 2025
Buying used at a lower price lets you get more for the same cash as new. Plus, used gear has already taken its depreciation hit, so you might not lose as much reselling it later.
Thanks for sharing! I’m not into mining yet because of costs but if I ever get a rig, I’d give it a shot and hopefully learn something.
It’s a race, though. More power means more chances. If you're hashing against thousands of better machines, your odds drop significantly.
- Looking for Reliable Cloud Mining OptionsMay 9, 2023
Cloud mining? Total scam in my book. Even the legit ones have rules that make it hard to earn anything.
- Why Most Traders Aren't Making MoneyJan 31, 2023
So many people just follow the crowd and forget we all have our paths. If trading isn’t working for you, maybe just hodl. Don’t keep throwing cash at a losing strategy because it’s wasting money.
This topic connects back to a cryptographic message that came out recently, signed with Hal Finney’s private key. It proves someone else held those keys. His mention of tech-savvy kids is interesting too.
- Should I Invest in Solar for Bitcoin Mining?Mar 27, 2022
I doubt you’ll get the most out of mining rigs powered by solar. Recovering your total spend plus profit is going to be tricky, especially with the risk of used rigs breaking down. Better stick to well-known brands that…
- Is Mining Worth It in This Bear Market?May 21, 2021
Right now, mining feels like zero profit. Market's rough and low-budget miners won't see much. But larger companies might rake it in when prices bounce back.
- Is the US the Best for Bitcoin Mining?Nov 15, 2019
Where are you based? Just because the US is on top doesn’t mean you can just roll in and start raking in profits. Other countries have cheaper electricity too.
Sounds like poor planning. This team rushed into projects when Bitcoin was at its peak. They took loans without a solid plan. If they’d just waited, they might’ve avoided this mess.
Let's be real, more bad news could hurt BTC again. I saw some green bars lately, which is nice, but if a new bombshell drops, BTC might crash hard once more.
