  • If it’s not specifically illegal, then it’s legal, right? To outlaw Bitcoin, they’d need laws against it. If there are no laws, you’re in the clear. And even if they do ban it later, they can’t go after you for past use.

  • I think OP might be confused about what a long position really is. Setting a buy order at $56k isn’t quite the same as being in a long position.

  • Totally agree with the author. There’s always gonna be those who want regulation and legit businesses, but I’m more aligned with the purists. Let Bitcoin be what it was meant to be, a way to avoid that big brother…

  • Well, the court supposedly ordered SEC to respond to Coinbase, but who knows when that'll happen.

  • No idea about the exact price but I’m sure BTC will still be around and more valuable. Might hit $200k or more; traditional markets will have a huge impact.

  • I think it’s not the users who follow KYC that are dirty-minded. It’s those who view these procedures as bad. We’ve moved past the ‘70s. Crypto is a global currency now, not bound by the same rules as fiat.
