Did you hear about Gensler refusing to say if ether is a security? That hearing was like five hours long.
So what's the deal with Ethereum?

Right? It’s wild. When McHenry pushed him on ether being a security, he just dodged the question.

Lol, yeah, but you gotta check out how Davidson grilled him. He even suggested Gensler should be kicked out!
Dude, Gensler was asked about suing Kim Kardashian for promoting EthereumMax and only pointed fingers at her. Why not go after the project itself?

I think he knows it’s a security but is playing coy. Bitcoin is such a different story, feels more like a commodity.
Totally agree. Ethereum feels more like a stock, depends on the central authority, etc.
Honestly, I don’t think Gensler will lose his job over this. The SEC will keep collecting fines while others get rekt.
Big facts! Gensler is a disappointment, though. He knew the space and still skipped out on owning crypto?
Exactly. Like, before his SEC gig, he was teaching blockchain stuff. Just seems sketch.
This whole SEC and crypto situation is wrecking their reputation. It’s like they’re afraid to make clear rules.
Yeah, I feel like they’re just waiting to see what happens before committing. Gensler’s gonna be the scapegoat if things go south.
Coinbase is suing the SEC, right? Can’t wait to see how that plays out.
SEC shot down their petition. What are they hoping to achieve in court? More vague answers?
Well, the court supposedly ordered SEC to respond to Coinbase, but who knows when that'll happen.

I really doubt they'll clarify anything. Just a waste of time for everyone involved.
Coinbase is doing okay, but it's nothing like before. They’re losing ground, for sure.
Sounds like a strategy to push competitors out. But why would they target Coinbase anyway?
Maybe they're trying to hedge against Binance gaining too much power. But still, things are looking grim.
Heard they ignore lots of petitions from Coinbase to clear things up on crypto laws.
Yeah, the SEC’s tactic is to create chaos. Makes it easier to slap lawsuits around.
