Why are institutions making such poor choices in crypto? Investigate before you buy, right? Just saw that Harvard dumped its entire ETH position after only one quarter. Crazy!

It's like they wanted to show they care about crypto but just picked the wrong asset. Selling at a loss? No way I'd handle my own money like that.

Sure, they might know more about ETH than we do... but still, seems odd to bail like this. Maybe they’re just looking at other investments.

Seriously, why go for ETH when you've got Bitcoin? They bought high and now are sitting on huge losses. Feels like a rookie mistake.

Agreed, there could be a reason behind this. Maybe they just don't see ETH's potential anymore. But they also sold some BTC, which might mean they think it's time to move on from crypto.

If they bought ETH at the peak, then yeah, they might be in trouble. Buying high is just asking for pain later. Common rookie mistake.

Maybe they were looking to invest in AI or something hotter. I mean, companies like SpaceX and OpenAI are ramping up their IPOs. Who knows?

Dumping ETH seems smart to me. If they learned their lesson, maybe they’ll focus on Bitcoin next time.

But just because they’re a top university doesn't mean they know everything. Investing in crypto is tricky, and anyone can make a bad call.

#10 Jun 15, 2024, 11:23 AM You guys are quick to judge. Harvard's a huge entity with tons of assets. They must've had their reasons for selling. Just wait and see.

#11 Jun 15, 2024, 07:53 PM But are they really newbies in crypto? Some big names in crypto have connections there. I doubt they’d panic sell without a strategy.

#12 Jun 15, 2024, 08:10 PM Who knows? Maybe they needed cash for something else or wanted to invest in a more stable sector. The AI buzz is real.

#13 Jun 16, 2024, 02:53 PM Yeah but the way they handled this ETH situation looks like they panicked. They should’ve had a backup plan.

#14 Jun 16, 2024, 06:38 PM They were holding onto a large amount of Bitcoin too, but now it seems they're cutting back. That’s alarming.

#15 Jun 16, 2024, 08:43 PM Harvard manages a ton of money. They’re not just clueless. What if they’re actually restructuring their portfolio?

#16 Jun 16, 2024, 11:09 PM This whole situation feels off. You don’t just dump ETH for no reason. They might think there are better opportunities out there.

#17 Jun 17, 2024, 04:28 AM Seems like a lesson learned, but it’s still a bit laughable. Selling ETH means they don’t trust it anymore.

#18 Jun 17, 2024, 08:30 AM I think they were just following trends. Altcoins seem attractive until they crash. Gotta be cautious.

#19 Jun 17, 2024, 09:50 AM +1 to that! They could’ve played it safer with just Bitcoin or some other stable investments.

#20 Jun 17, 2024, 01:39 PM Institutions don’t usually panic sell like retail investors do. They might just be reallocating their assets.
