Will the Digital Euro Replace US Payment Giants by 2029?

I reckon it’s time for the EU to address this whole reliance on US payment systems like Visa and Mastercard. If the digital euro is really a CBDC, they need to step it up. Plus, I love how some countries are using QR codes for payments, so easy to use!
