Did some digging around and found this: China considers Bitcoin property but their govt is super anti-crypto. They don't want to hold Bitcoin reserves. Seems to me they aim for the Yuan to outshine the USD and other big currencies. So, are they really just hiding some agenda?

Everyone's got some motive, right? Life’s boring otherwise. China’s hustling hard, that's just in their nature. It’s all about working to reach those dreams. But if one power dominates, like China trying to monopolize? That's kinda sketchy.

China's gotta be worried about its citizens jumping into crypto. Legalizing Bitcoin could mean folks look at altcoins too, and that’s a no-go. They'd rather keep the cash flowing into local investment and boost their own economy. Makes sense in the current economic climate.

I bet they see Bitcoin as a US-backed threat to their economy. I mean, yeah, it might sound silly but China operates in a closed economy. Big platforms from the US are banned, so they’re likely treating Bitcoin the same way.

They’ve had a love-hate relationship with Bitcoin for years. They’re major players in ASIC miner manufacturing, but they don't want to admit it. It’s like they’re in the game but don’t wanna show their cards.

Check the stats on mining pools... Crazy that around 7 out of the top 11 pools are controlled by Chinese interests. So they might be anti-Bitcoin publicly, but behind the scenes? They’re still cashing in.

Remember Xi’s ban on Bitcoin? He’s in charge, and until there’s a change, I doubt we’ll see any reversal. The US has never liked Bitcoin either, but they kinda embrace it in some ways. China? Yeah, they’re super authoritarian.

Back in 2014, China was already against Bitcoin even before altcoins really took off. Their main concern back then? Keeping money from leaving the country. They restrict how wealth is transferred, so allowing crypto would be a big no.

Totally agree. The ban benefits the government but not the people. They’re pushing their digital Yuan, and that’s very China-like. They want full control over decisions.

Heard there's an article about China holding around 195,000 Bitcoin from a Ponzi scheme seizure. So maybe they aren’t buying anymore but surely have some Bitcoin stashed away?

Agendas aren’t just for kicks. They usually feed into bigger problems like greed. If China wanted to be the best currency, they’d support Bitcoin, but nah.

You can hold Bitcoin in China but trading it? Nope. They don’t want their citizens using it cause it competes with the Yuan. It all makes sense in keeping their economy strong.

China's government is super authoritarian. They won't ever support Bitcoin because it offers decentralization, and they've got their digital yuan to promote. Simple as that.

They’re hiding potential Bitcoin holdings! All this noise about banning it might just be a cover-up. They’ve seized plenty of Bitcoin already, but who knows what else is going on?

Pretty sure they kept their Bitcoin stash secretive. Before the 2021 ban, they had a chunk of mining rigs almost 70%. This was when mining and exchanges started to flee China.

Gambling is illegal in China, so they gotta ban Bitcoin too. Plus, the energy costs for mining? That’s a big issue for them in terms of sustainability.

China's Bitcoin ban is more about control than anything else. They want to monopolize global digital currency and keep their monetary system in check.

China's all about the Yuan dominating the market they’re not fussy about innovation like the West. While the West embraces crypto, China’s lagging behind.

It’s wild how they want their currency to rule the world but their economic decline makes that goal feel far-fetched. They act tough against Bitcoin while possibly buying gold.

China’s unpredictable. They’re opposing US policies left and right. We have no clue what their agenda really is, but I guess it’s to create a stronger national front.
