I got around 20-25 of those S19s, probably pushing 60-70 kW. Plus 6 M30s and M50s, let’s say another 18 kW. Got 2 L7s, about 6 kW, and then there's 13 GPU rigs, around 26 kW. Also some smaller Avalons and Antminers, say 20 kW. So that’s around 140 kW with no mining space. At least I have zero debt and some cash and coins. Not sure about the next steps...
What Now After My Mining Farm Shutdown?

This is really tough. You've put in so much time and effort, it must feel awful to stop mining. I’ve been there, trust me. If I were you, I’d sell the gear or wait for a better opportunity. But keeping them too long might reduce their value in BTC, which isn't easy to accept.
I’ve spent thousands of hours working on this. From late 2018 until yesterday. I think I need a break to clear my mind.

End of an era indeed. Kudos for all the hard work you’ve put in. You've inspired many to get into mining, which is pretty cool. Just don’t forget to hold onto some BTC.
Thanks for the support.
If you decide to sell, hit me up. I’m cool with using a trusted member for escrow.
What did you end up doing with your gear?
Sold off some stuff, holding onto the rest. Hoping the coins will increase in value before I sell more. Got six Whatsminers, 3 M30s, 3 M50s, 2 S19xps, and 18 RTX 3090s. Think I’ve sold about 48k worth of GPUs so far and a few ASICs.
Still selling GPUs? Are they good for gaming besides the RTX 3090? What are the price ranges? I know some gamers and a guy who builds PCs from used parts. Can you ship to Germany or the UK? I might be interested.
Shipping an RTX 3070 to Europe is tough. The shipping costs can kill the deal for everyone involved. I’ve got 5 miners in hosting, 4 T21s and 1 L7, making a bit of profit. I’ll list the RTX 3090s soon.
So sad to hear that. You once mentioned owning a house, why not try mining some new coins at home? You could run a mining rig in your garage. But with S19s, you really need cheaper electricity. At 10 cents, you’d be losing money.

Sorry to hear about your farm. I get the feeling. It sucks at first, but it does get better.
Yeah, the small hosting setup in Iowa is doing okay, pulling in about 1.5-2k a month with power costs around $850. Lower overhead, smaller operation.
Hey, I’m Saskia. I found you here. I’ve got a 60 MW electricity license for Namibia. The place I lease is huge, 125 soccer fields. It’s four times larger than our plant in Switzerland and the electricity is cheaper. I want to get into Bitcoin farming, looking for advice.
I’ll email you later today.

Have you thought about a battery-powered setup? Charge them overnight for less and use during the day. I’m considering this for a small 3 kW system. Cheaper night rates in the UK and maybe some solar could lower costs.
