Solo Mining: Where to Point My Miner?

I saw a video on YouTube about solo mining and they suggested a site to use. But then I found out that CKPool doesn’t want my BitAxe Gamma 601 for solo mining. Can someone tell me where else I can point my miner to try solo mining? Thanks, I’m new to this whole thing.

I can’t access that link, but CKPool says they don’t support Nerdminers with just 78 KH/s. Your BitAxe is way above that at 1.2 TH/s, so it should be fine, right?

You can set up your device for this pool: this forum.org/index.php?topic=5580264.0. Just know that solo pools vary; some pay only the miner who finds the block, while others split rewards. Check out this other project too.

CKPool isn’t great for small miners like BitAxe. Public Pool is better for them and lets you solo mine while keeping the full reward if you find a block.

Nah, that’s not true. Anything over a few hundred GHS works on CKSolo or other pools. Public Pool is mainly for lower-end mining.

He might not have the full picture. BitAxe runs at 1.2TH/s, which is well over the limit, so it should work fine for solo mining at CKPool.
