Just started mining on solo.ckpool.org with my BitAxe 401 Supra. My hashrate is about 625 GH. I've got 670 shares, but 9 of them are rejected. Isn’t that a bit high? I thought reject rates should be below 1%. I know it’s early days, but damn, this seems off. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike

Could be a few things going on. First off, check your connection speed and latency to the ckpool server. If you're on Linux, try nmap to see what's up. Also, make sure the WiFi signal isn’t weak for your BitAxe. By the way, what’s your OS?

lol, all those rejects. Just wait until you hit 6700 shares. It gets better, trust me. The first hour usually has more rejects. I bet once you hit 6700, you'll be under 30 rejects. That’s less than half a percent.

1% vs 1.3%… not a huge difference right? But rejected shares usually come down to two main issues. First is latency, which is super common. Check your internet connection, maybe ping the pool a bit. Second is your miner or software. Known ASICs are pretty reliable, but if you're using something new, could be the issue.

He hasn’t updated us yet on his long-term reject rate. Honestly, 1.3 vs 1.0 isn’t that big of a deal when you look at the accepted shares. It’s 99.0 vs 98.7. But yeah, without updates, we can't really know how his gear performs over time.

I’m using a gamma model. Got 47 rejects out of 35,213 shares. So that’s 0.1334%. I wish he’d follow up because I’m sure his rate would drop as he keeps mining.
