Just starting in bitcoin mining. I want to put down $10k and maybe more later. My electricity bill is kinda high, at around 15 cents per kWh. Any suggestions for hosting? All the sites look sketchy and nobody shows their prices. Who can I trust here? Anyone know review sites? Got a way to compare companies easily?

Honestly, if you're worried about electricity costs, you have limited options. Here’s what I’d suggest:
1. Move to a place with cheaper rates.
2. Skip mining and just buy Bitcoin.
3. Look into solar energy for your home.
It's not worth the hassle if you're not set up for mining.
lol that's rough. I talked to someone at Musk Mining, seemed solid, but honestly... the ROI isn't impressive with the current prices and mining difficulty.
Man, just buy $10k worth of BTC and be done with it.
If you’re anxious, maybe invest $2k monthly for a bit.

8.5 cents per kWh and you gotta buy equipment from them?
Seriously take Phil’s advice. With $10k, mining isn’t gonna cut it. You won't score discounts and will barely make back your investment.
I wouldn't trust cloud mining with your situation. If you can't mine on-site, just buy Bitcoin. Hosting services usually just want to profit off you with contracts.
Buying Bitcoin is way better. Or maybe ask family living outside Texas, there are cheaper rates in states like Idaho. But switching algorithms? Good luck finding miners for that.
So just invest and forget about the electrical bills.

It seems like a bad time to invest through mining hosting. Use that cash to buy a few miners and find a data center instead. Cloud mining is mostly a money pit.
Seriously, OP, focusing on hosting might be a waste. Most of the time, those companies barely leave you with profits. Imagine being them, getting cheaper electricity, then making barely anything after overhead.

Genesis Mining is a big name in cloud mining, pretty transparent about fees. But check the profitability for yourself, it changes a lot.
HashFlare used to be popular too, but the market changes fast.

Sounds like standard advice. But honestly... only two ASICs are breaking even at 12 cents. You're telling him to go for it?
I can back two companies if you want good service:
In the US, Teslawatt, and in Canada, D-Central. Just be ready to do the math on potential profit.
I got this link from a friend. We’re a new hosting option in Kentucky. Pricing is 8.5 cents with a $50 setup fee. If you're looking for miners, I can help find better deals.

Yeah, and you’re only getting maybe two miners out of that. Not worth the trouble at all. Just buy actual Bitcoin and DCA it.
He can buy 10-11 S19 Jpros for $10k, or a few L7s.
That's a steep charge. Profiting off mining will be hard at those rates. If you wanna advertise here, you gotta provide more details and maybe some proof.
Mining might be finished for a while. After future halvings, maybe miners can actually profit again, but right now, good luck.
You should check hashbranch.com for legit hosting companies. They have solid reviews, pricing, and uptime info.
Just avoid it, unless you know a hosting facility personally and trust them completely. Better off just buying Bitcoin.
