Hey everyone,
We're kicking off another group buy for solo mining. This one's organized via Hashingpower, like before. Gonna start after the next difficulty drop.
We're looking for around 10-20 users to chip in 0.005 BTC, 0.01 BTC or more. Going too high with participants isn't gonna help since profits will be tiny otherwise. Just a heads up if you think about joining.
If someone wants to put in less than the minimum, rewards will be calculated based on what you contribute.

Quick question, sorry if this is a bit off-topic, but what exactly do you mean by a "Found Block"? Like, is it some kind of lucky surprise?
Are we solo mining and hoping to hit the jackpot with the purchased hashrate? So basically, it’s a gamble, right? If we don’t find any blocks, we lose everything, correct?
Exactly. We buy hashrate with the coins pooled in our Blockparty and aim for the solo pool. If we hit a block, we split the rewards. If not, well, that’s just bad luck and our coins vanish. It’s all or nothing, you know? Check the links in the first post for past successes.
For anyone thinking this is a bad move, think about it this way. Spending $1000+ on a solo miner means waiting forever to find a block. This option has way better odds. The reality check hits hard though since not everyone can afford to jump in like that.

Yeah, I get that this will take a year or so, with all those rounds. I thought each round was a month. But if a block pops in the 7th round, it gets split among folks who joined. So if I put in 0.01 BTC, I’d get a bigger slice, right?
Exactly! The more BTC you put in, the more you get back if we find a block. You can also add your own miner, but it won’t change your reward from the group.
Hey Willi,
Cool to see this run happening again I’m in!

Thanks, Willi! I was part of BlockParty 8 and 14. Here's hoping for another successful round!
Don’t forget to check you have your rewards from the previous Blockparty still in your wallet.
Alright, we’re all set! Everyone has paid, so we’re starting soon with 30 PH.
Hey all,
We’ve officially launched! Finally got the rentals going.
Fingers crossed for Blockparty1!
