Looks pretty solid! This could be my go-to solo mining calculator. Quick question, is the network hashrate based on a weekly average or something more real-time? Also, where do you get your data?

I tried it out with 10 petahashes and got a 1 in 3 chance of finding a block yearly. My setup with nine Antminer ASICs runs at about 10 petahashes. At 5 cents per kWh, I’m looking at $43,332 a year for electricity.

I'm at just under 5 cents too, but I can't use much power. If I pay 10 cents, it means only one block every three years. Gonna end up spending $260k on electricity for about 3 bitcoins. Solo mining is risky, especially for the average miner.

Finding a block relies on two main things: your own hashrate and the total network hashrate. The math is all out there. I double-checked the luck stats using an AI tool, and it lined up perfectly with this calculator.
