Hey everyone, Noticed lately how the Indian central bank is tightening its grip on banks, stopping them from interacting with crypto exchanges. This isn’t a full-on ban on crypto, but it’s definitely making things tricky for users and platforms. By the way, I’ve been struggling to deposit Rupees into my WazirX account for about a week now. WazirX claims it's a bank issue, but I can’t help but think this is linked to the RBI being extra cautious with banks and crypto.

Totally get that. Using another service to bypass restrictions sounds smart, but it can be a hassle. You have to go through KYC again, plus you might face extra fees just to pull your cash back to a bank. And yeah, services like OctaFX might flag your account for weird activity since it's clear you're just using them to move money around and avoid the bank’s watchful eye. Not the best situation.

P2P on WazirX is a great option, though. They were the first to roll it out, and it’s been a lifesaver for many during the RBI restrictions. The cool thing is, banks won’t know the reason behind your transactions. Plus, since it’s all handled on the WazirX platform, you have to do KYC, so you’re not dealing with any sketchy people, and the transactions are escrowed by WazirX. That's pretty solid, right?

Sounds good. I mean, it’s useful for withdrawals or trading abroad, but P2P trading still comes with risks. Banks might be keeping an eye on those transactions. Just curious, is OctaFX even registered in India? If not, where would the money be coming from when you withdraw?

Yes, OctaFX does have a branch in India and they promote themselves here. Even though forex trading is technically banned, you can still use OctaFX to convert your crypto into Indian currency. But honestly, the RBI has made it clear that crypto isn’t outright banned here, so I doubt we should be facing these issues in the first place.
