True that! Earnings can vary a lot. Depends on your mining pool, hardware, and what you’re mining. It's not a one-size-fits-all.

Honestly, with Ethereum 2.0 coming, I’d hold off on GPU mining for now. Got any ASIC options?
PoS is coming soon, maybe Q4. There’s still time to profit from mining before it hits. Remember the last time it was teased back in 2017? Much worse then.

What’s the potential profit after 5 months? You might recoup 30% of your GPU cost if ETH holds up, but I’m not seeing big profits.
If you grab a Radeon RX 6800 on sale, it’ll run you about $700. With a good setup, you’re looking at $1.80 a day profit. But if PoS hits, that profit drops.

You can find out your Bitcoin mining potential with online calculators. Just plug in your gear details and it’ll show you the numbers.
Used to mine ZEC back when it was profitable. Ran out of options and switched to exchanges instead.
If you’re new, stick with GPU mining. Lower entry costs and if it’s not your thing, you won’t lose a ton. GPUs usually hold value better than ASICs.
Tried mining a while back, but earnings were low. Now I use a p2p exchange, super simple.
I’m also new to crypto. Started Bitcoin cloud mining on some platform. It’s great for those without equipment or tech skills.
Cloud mining? Most are scams, tbh. Anyone can fake numbers online. The real test is if you can withdraw your earnings.
But does anyone have proof of legitimate withdrawals from those cloud platforms? That’s a huge red flag for me.
I’m with you on this. If OP wants to mine, GPUs are the way to go. They’re the best choice for beginners.

For sure, GPUs make mining accessible. Plus, they can mine more than one coin, unlike ASICs which are pretty limited.
