Mining in extreme heat is rough. Cooling costs a lot, and building power stations adds even more expenses.

Spot on! Mining in high temps means spending a ton on cooling. Finding cooler spots would be ideal.

solar sounds nice but what about the upfront cost tho? africa's infrastructure ain't uniform, some spots have barely any grid. mining rigs need stable power nonstop or you get fried machines. I'm not saying it's impossible just a hell of an uphill battle.
