I'm on the lookout for a mining partner in Ohio. Need someone who’s been in the game for a while. I’ll cover 70% of the mining gear, just need you to pitch in the remaining 30%. We can split the profits based on what we agree on.

If you can handle 70% of the gear, why not just go solo? Seriously, unless I’m missing something, what’s the real reason you want a partner? Are you hoping they set it all up or is it just about cheap electricity?

Do you even have a spot picked out? And what’s your electricity cost looking like? You need a good location and affordable power before anything else. Without that, it’s hard to move forward. Also, what do you mean ‘after mining’? You get coins constantly, right?

Here’s a quick rundown on power costs. 4 cents per kWh is fantastic. 5 cents is solid. 6 cents is decent. 7 cents is okay. 8 cents is mediocre. 9 cents is bad. 10 cents or more? Total loss. You’ll need at least 1 MW if you’re going into business with someone. A 40 ft container can handle that. And for roughly 1.35 million, you could get 250 s21xp units cranking out some serious BTC.

You should really clarify what the 70% includes and what you need from your partner. If you’ve already got electricity sorted in that 70%, then honestly, why do you need anyone else? Make a list of everything you have versus what you need. Good luck though.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I’ve actually found someone interested, and we’re moving forward. Electricity is already sorted out.

Wow, that was quick! Just hope you didn’t rush into this. When dealing with big investments, you gotta weigh every risk. It’s smart to take your time and prepare well.

Exactly! I was thinking the same. Seems like he jumped into a partnership too fast. If he’s already got 70% covered, maybe he doesn’t even need a partner. OP, if you’re reading this, take a step back and rethink your plans to avoid any major pitfalls.
