Kyrgyzstan just inked a deal with Binance to roll out crypto payments. Changpeng Zhao confirmed this in a meeting with President Sadyr Zhaparov. They want to boost local transactions and facilitate international payments across the Eurasian Economic Union. Seems like a big step for the region.

I didn't expect Kyrgyzstan to jump in first. LOL. It's funny how they are moving ahead while other countries are still stuck banning crypto. Curious to see how the rest of the ex-USSR states will respond. Will they embrace it or push back like with El Salvador?
For real, who would have thought Kyrgyzstan would lead in crypto adoption? It shows the difference in mindset compared to places like Türkiye that are still banning things. Also, didn’t know Zhao was still so involved after stepping down. Good for Kyrgyzstan with only 7 million folks.
Must be nice for Kyrgyzstan. I’m from a country where Binance is banned, and seeing others move forward is kinda frustrating. Seems like a lot of nations are starting to reconsider their views on crypto, which is a good sign for the future.

Totally, the way Binance is handling this is what they should have done everywhere else. Most issues they've faced were because countries accused them of doing business without proper licensing. Good for Kyrgyzstan, but just a reminder that central exchanges come with risks. Not your keys, not your coins.
I’ve used Coinbase for payments, and it was smooth. Haven’t tried Binance’s yet, but it’s nice to see crypto payments becoming more common. I’d ditch Apple Pay for crypto in a second if more shops accepted it.
Last time I looked into Binance Pay, you have to register and go through KYC to use it. Not thrilled about that, especially with other options around. But hey, at least they’re including Binance Academy for education.
Exciting news! Even with KYC, this is a step in the right direction.
This may be a way to get around SWIFT, especially for nations under sanctions like Russia and Belarus. It’s interesting, but it also means Kyrgyzstan is leaning more towards centralization. Still, good to see options outside of fiat.

I’m not sure how big crypto is in Kyrgyzstan, but any adoption is a win. Binance Pay is cool since you can use your Binance account almost like a bank. I wish more businesses would consider decentralized options too.
This is a groundbreaking move for crypto in places that saw it as a scam. Bitcoin's value is rising, and this could seriously impact Kyrgyzstan’s financial landscape for the better.
Education is key here, for sure. More informed users can tackle the bad actors.
Awesome news! Kyrgyzstan is really doing something unique by launching a crypto payment system with a reputable partner like Binance. I just wish my country wasn’t so restrictive about it.
This could really shake things up. If Kyrgyzstan keeps this up, they might set a precedent like El Salvador did. Exciting to see how this evolves.
Binance is facing restrictions in my country too. They always blame crypto for our economic issues, but the reality is a lot deeper. It’s great to see other countries actually benefiting from crypto.
I thought so too, but it seems more nations are ditching their skepticism. They see it's beneficial, especially smaller economies. Still think Bitcoin needs these countries more than they need Bitcoin.
Definitely younger politicians could make a difference. Not every non-Western country is stuck in the past, but some still need to wake up.

Sounds like Nigeria. They keep blaming crypto for their problems instead of looking at the real issues. There’s potential for recovery, but it’s unclear if the ban plays a part.

This could be a huge boost for Binance, but they must be giving up some things to make it happen. KYC issues always come up, and they’ve lost markets due to local regulations. I’m curious how this will play out.
Yeah, but Kyrgyzstan should know Binance’s origins. BNB started from that ICO craze, and the company has a bit of a shady past. They need to protect their own currency and be careful with foreign influences.
