When I first got into crypto, I saw 125x use on perpetual trades. Now it’s all the way up to 500x on some exchanges. Crazy, right?

Depends on your view, tbh. If you're looking at volatility, higher use might be needed since crypto moves way more than gold. Exchanges love it though, higher use means higher profit for them.

MEXC is even crazier, they offer 1000x use on XAUT/USDT. One wrong move and you could be wiped out in a heartbeat.

Exactly! 1000x use is insane, like a red flag for me. Traders are basically gambling at that point. I mean, who needs that kind of risk?

A lot of traders dive in with high use thinking they can make a quick buck, but most just end up liquidated. It's like they don't even see the danger.

100x is already a lot, so I can’t even imagine why anyone would go for 500x or 1000x. Seems reckless.

Yeah, the exchanges are in it for profit. They know if they offer high use, more traders will get wiped out and they’ll make money off those liquidations.

But isn’t it also up to traders to be smart about it? If they’re aware of the risks and still go for it, that’s on them.

Sure, but many new traders don’t understand the implications. They see high use and think they can get rich quick. It's like setting them up to fail.

I’ve seen a lot of people get wrecked with high use. I stick to 10x max. My heart can't take the stress!

Exactly, higher use just means higher risk. It’s not for everyone, especially those who are just starting.

In Europe, they’ve started restricting use on exchanges, which seems smart. Protects the newbies from getting rekt.

1000x use is wild, but I guess if you have the capital, some might see it as a way to amplify gains.

Still, if you don’t have backup funds, you’re basically gambling. Even with a good strategy, one little hiccup can ruin you.

+1 to that. High use is not for the faint-hearted. You gotta have nerves of steel.

It’s all about risk management. If you can handle it and have a solid plan, maybe it works. But that’s a big if.

I think they just want to exploit the greed of traders. More use equals more chances for them to profit from liquidations.

Honestly, I see high use as a trap. It just promotes reckless trading and more losses for the average trader.

+1, it’s just like those old binary options schemes. Most people are gonna lose money.

Yeah, it feels like the system is rigged against casual traders. Only pros can really deal with those waters.
