Has anyone else received legal documents about the FTX bankruptcy?

Hey folks, I just got a legal document in the mail about the FTX bankruptcy case. Is anyone else seeing this? I think it’s connected to my info being tied to FTX, but just reached out to the contacts on the paper to clarify. Yeah it’s pretty standard if you had an FTX account. It’s annoying honestly, I had no money there, so the details mean nothing to me. Seems like they’re just sending these letters to everyone who ever signed up, doesn’t matter if you used it or not. This has been dragging on for ages now.

I got that email too a few days back. Looks like they’re sending it to all account holders to sort out claims for any compensation they’re discussing. Lucky me, I pulled out my assets before the whole thing blew up. Gotta send some verification stuff if you want the payout, but that’s basically it. No extra steps.

I saw a thread where someone mentioned getting a notice email from FTX. @AbuBhakar had something similar. Maybe try reaching out to them for more info. I think it’s common; there has been a lot of chatter about these notifications floating around.

Sounds about right but be careful. Make sure you check all the contact info there have been cases where FTX users had their personal info leaked leading to phishing scams. If anything seems fishy, just hit up support.

Check this out, FTX just settled a big tax claim with the IRS and it’s supposed to help them pay back customers. Glad to see they're working on that side. Hope it helps the situation.

So FTX and Alameda have been ordered to pay a huge amount to creditors. Crazy, right? Just means they can’t operate in the market at all anymore. At least some people might see some funds back.
