Anyone got a clear guide for connecting a new blockchain and currency to the first payment gateway that accepted Bitcoin? Was it PayPal or something else? I forked Bitcoin, but I can't figure out how to link it to a payment gateway to make some use of the currency.

You forked Bitcoin but missed the part about connecting it to PayPal? That's a major oversight, lol.

There are tons of Bitcoin forks out there, most of them are just dead projects. We really don’t need more of these pointless forks. Seriously, how many have actually survived?

Honestly, none of these cryptos, including Bitcoin, have made me any money. They seem useful only for hackers and shady stuff. Without big hedge funds backing Bitcoin, it would just be another worthless number.

So you think you found the secret sauce that all these other altcoin creators missed? Sorry dude, that train left the station ages ago.

If you're trying to connect to a closed-source payment gateway, good luck. They don’t support forks from Bitcoin. Consider forking an open-source gateway like BTCPay and tweaking it for your altcoin.

You can't go to a restaurant, complain about your meal, and ask the chef how to cook, right? Plus, Bitcoin mining started with PCs and moved to ASICs as demand grew. Your logic doesn’t hold up.

Forking is pretty straightforward, just pick a block and start mining from there. Simple enough if you know what you’re doing.

The forking process might be easy, but what happens to those forked coins? If they’re not appealing to the Bitcoin community, they’re basically dead on arrival.

Without real value, all the forks in the world won’t mean anything. The key is getting some serious investment backing, like from a hedge fund or a bank. PayPal was the only game in town for online transactions back then.
