I'm really worried about increasing OP_RETURN size. Just think about it, storing CSAM without any disguises... not cool.

True, but I think people might still prefer cheaper options for data storage. Cloud is easier than using Bitcoin for that.

Exactly! OP_RETURN actually reduces the block size and needs less validation. It’s good for the network.

Not everyone knows this. Some websites can already search and view arbitrary data. Full nodes can’t do that without extra tools.

Yeah, but if you're with a miner, you can technically submit bigger data than 80 bytes with OP_RETURN.

A lot of miners have already ignored the limits. They’ll just embed whatever they want. Limits make no sense for them.

Ordinal supporters want their data eternal, but suggesting IPFS gets ignored. They'd have to set up an IPFS node themselves.

Totally agree! Just let those who make NFTs submit transactions without relying on miners. Seems more straightforward.
