I've been mining with buySolar since 2014. We set up a solar array back in 2016 and caught that epic run in late 2017. Now we’re on the hunt for spots to set up a new array.

We found a location for 1000 300-watt panels. That's a 300kW array! When grid-tied, it gives us about 43kW 24/7.

First phase saw us install a bunch of BTC miners, and now we're adding more plus some LTC miners. I'll share a video soon.

Cool, looking forward to the video. Solar's a solid choice, but how do you manage battery issues?

We're grid-tied, so no battery worries here! We’re mining with 40kW out of the 300kW and selling the excess. It's a win-win!

This is the second setup. If all goes well, we might add one or two each year!

Interesting approach. What's the timeline for getting approval for the panels?

In NJ, it's good for solar projects. We could potentially sell power to neighbors at a better rate soon. Just ordered more miners too.

Nice! I wanna do something similar, but my electric company is being a pain about transformer installation.

Financing isn’t an issue for us. The warehouse owner is backing the solar setup, and it's basically a perfect scenario.

I’ve had a tough time with banks too. They freak out when you mention crypto. One was okay when I called it a data center.

Buysolar's got a solid solar biz. I’m jumping in on his array. The warehouse has the right setup for this.

What’s the cost comparison with the miners? I’ve been looking at the S11 vs M10.

The S11 is around $707 with everything. The M10 is $880 but super reliable. I think the M10’s the way to go.

Philip, if you need help with gear, hit me up. No duties on certain gear, right?

Might need more M10s as we progress. Next step is adding two more and optimizing.

Tariff issues are a pain. The rates are soaring.

The M10 isn't exempt from tariffs. If you buy one it might be under the limit, but buy two and it's taxed.

So over $1000 is a guarantee for tax?

Yep, any imports over that from China are taxed for sure.
