Rental prices are insane these days. I mean, people are paying like 10k a month in cities like NYC and London. What’s up with that? That’s 120k a year just gone.

Right? And in Monaco, it’s even crazier. Paying 30k a month is just normal there. Like, how do they just throw away 360k in a year? Seems wild to me.

For folks with lower incomes, sure, that's a big waste. But rich people see it differently. To them, paying high rents is part of their lifestyle. They don't think they're wasting money.

Exactly! Wealthy folks don’t mind the cost because they enjoy the freedom and convenience that comes with renting. No maintenance worries, just pure comfort.

But like, what happens when the money runs out? You keep renting for years, and suddenly you’ve lost a million. Gotta wonder if that’s really smart.

Some people think it’s better to rent than to buy. Renting gives flexibility, especially for those who move for work. Buying a house can be such a hassle.

Flexibility is great, but paying 120k a year? That’s a lot! I’d rather invest that in something that could grow.

But you have to consider location. High rents in business centers can actually be reasonable if you’re making big profits. It’s an operational cost.

Look, if you’re living in the richest cities, you gotta pay rich prices. It’s all about supply and demand, right? People want to live in those areas.

True, but it’s hard to wrap my head around it. How do these people earn enough money to pay those rents? Seems sketchy.

Some rich folks have multiple revenue streams, so they can afford it. Renting can actually be cheaper than owning when you factor in all the costs.

I get that, but still, for most people, it feels wasteful to spend so much on rent. It’s just a place to sleep.

Not everyone thinks like you. Some see renting as just part of their financial strategy. They're not worried about the money as much.

Yeah, but it feels like a trap sometimes. Especially in places like Monaco where it’s just a playground for the wealthy.

Still, if someone wants to spend their money that way, good for them. It’s their money, right? Let them enjoy it how they want.

What about the people who just buy expensive apartments to leave empty? That’s a different kind of waste.

But that’s not really waste. They see it as an investment. Over time, those properties appreciate, and they can make a profit.

Makes sense, but can’t help but feel it's a bit ridiculous. Like, why not just live in it?

Because some people buy for status or as a safe investment. Not everyone cares about using the property.

Exactly! And the amenities in these high-end places make it worth the rent for some. It’s about lifestyle.
