100% agree with you. I solo mine with SHA256. I have a couple of USB miners just because I like the idea of having every device running something. I also have Antminers at home.

You can definitely mine solo, but good luck with that. You’d need a BitcoinCore node or something like ckpool or kano for better chances. Just know that if you’re not rolling in hashing power, your odds are pretty slim.…
