Wait, are you talking about cloud mining? Those things are basically scams, man. Don’t throw your money at them. If you wanna mine, do your homework on the miner and its power costs. If it looks good, buy one and join a mining pool.
Did you hear about Hashflare? Their founders got extradited for running a Ponzi scheme that took $575 million from investors. Crazy stuff! They were caught in Estonia and now they’re facing some serious charges.
I actually checked out a mining hosting data center. Saw my miner working and it felt good to verify before putting in cash. They cater to a lot of folks in Europe, so I think it’s pretty legit. The platform lets you manage stuff online, which is handy.
Nice to hear you’re not into cloud mining. Share your setup details! What ASIC did you get, how much did you pay, and what's your electricity bill? In Russia, they don’t let small miners into data centers for safety, and there’s a risk of confiscation since laws are kinda murky. Experts say Russia's like the second biggest mining country.
