So, Wozniak's got a new coin aimed at tackling climate change. Not much info out yet but it seems like a mix of crowdfunding and altcoin. Can't recall anyone trying this before. For those who don’t know, Wozniak co-founded Apple with Jobs and built the original Apple OS.

Didn’t know Woz was an Apple co-founder. Back to this altcoin though, how did it gather so much support so fast? Seems like it has potential if investors are jumping in like that. Blockchain tech is getting more recognition lately, could be exciting.

I’ve been hearing about Woz backing Bitcoin for years. His new altcoin caught my attention a few weeks back. Crazy that it hit nearly a billion dollars so quickly! This could be a big deal. Anyone here invested in Efforce? I saw it's listed on a few exchanges.

This just shows how people follow their favorite celebs blindly. Wozniak’s name alone probably helps sell it. For him, it might just be a vanity project, but it could tie into Apple’s ecosystem. Wonder how long this hype lasts when money policies tighten.

Yeah, using his name definitely boosts visibility. If they stick to their mission, I’m all for it. It’s about funding energy-efficient projects and cutting costs on energy, so I hope they pull it off.

Great move for the environment, especially since many government efforts fall flat. I dig Wozniak’s idea of crowdfunding for green projects. We’ve been overdoing it without fixing it for ages, so let’s see if he can make a dent.

Woz isn’t just some celebrity. He’s a tech legend. Those fanatics out there help drive demand. If he backs up his words with action, then let the market thrive. A name like his makes things sell like hotcakes.

Investors are likely banking on the early Apple days and how it exploded. Nearly a billion in a day? Sounds a bit wild to me. Hope they use the funds wisely.

Efforce? Never heard of it. But Wozniak’s vision seems solid compared to other projects. If he wants global energy solutions, it’ll need serious funds. He’s got the experience from Apple, so fingers crossed.

Crowdfunding plus an altcoin? Sounds familiar... I’m curious if this will be more legit than 2017 ICOs. Wozniak has a good rep, which could explain the hype. But how exactly will blockchain help cut energy use?

Let’s not kid ourselves. Wozniak set this up in Malta for quick gains due to lax regulations, not out of love for the region. If Facebook wanted an easy route, they’d be all over Malta too.

What shocks me is not the speed of this growth, but how it plans to tackle climate change. If it really contributes, it could change the game for years to come.

Seems sketchy to me. Investors probably knew about this beforehand. 950 million in 13 minutes? Not buying it that regular folks are pouring money in during a pandemic.

A shitcoin’s a shitcoin, even if Woz is behind it. Is there really a funding issue for green energy? Many countries are already producing more green energy than fossil fuels.

Yeah, the same Woz who got robbed for 70k in BTC? Just shows how gullible some investors can be. This could all just be a marketing stunt. Let’s see if this token lasts.

Honestly, he’s one of the few who can pull this off. But let’s not forget, crypto’s booming now and we can see projects like this. Next year could be even crazier.

Definitely seems like Wozniak’s name got all the attention. If you have a big name on board, money will flow in. Woz is a tech icon, way different from other celebrity endorsements.

Really curious about his true motivations. Is it to profit or to create something meaningful? Many billionaires care more about their legacy than just cash.

Yeah, it’s the same old story. Plenty of green energy projects have failed before. Makes me skeptical about this one.

The power of a name, right? Most people probably bought in just due to Wozniak’s involvement. Now it’s cooling off, I might consider investing if it dips enough.
