Hey everyone, I’m back with some questions. This is my second cycle in crypto, and now I’ve got $3,000 spread over 20 different coins. Some I put $250 into, but not all.
Worried About My Portfolio Size and Profit Rotation

So yesterday, one of my coins jumped from $250 to $500, and I took that $250 profit and put it into Turbo. My questions are: 1. Is moving profit into another coin a smart move, or should I just keep it in USDC or a stablecoin? 2. Is having 20 coins too excessive?

20 different coins isn’t really diversification, it can be a fast track to losing all your cash. Honestly, sticking to 2-5 solid coins is better. You can’t predict the performance of all those coins.
What coins are you holding? Your strategy really matters. Personally, I only invest in 8 coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a few others. I think they’re solid long-term options.
Yeah, I agree with keeping it simple. If you’re just flipping coins for short-term gains, 20 might be okay. But for long-term, having too many coins complicates things.
Rotating profits can be good or bad. You never know if the coin you just sold will suddenly pump after you sell. I’d just hold onto my coins until they hit my price target.

Only rotate if you’re sure the coin you’re getting into isn't already overbought. A lot of people miss out on gains by jumping between coins at the wrong times.

Honestly, stay away from that idea. It’s risky! Just because you got lucky once doesn’t mean it’ll work again. Altcoins can burn you really fast.
You can handle 50 coins if you know how to manage them, but I’d say stick to 20 max. Always have a price target for when to sell. That makes it easier.
Profit rotation isn’t bad if you know what you’re doing. I often flip my profits into USDT before searching for the next opportunity.

It’s about your skill to manage assets. If you’re good, you can juggle multiple coins. Personally, I only like keeping 5-10. Less stress.
Good for you on the profit! It all comes down to your strategy. Some prefer stablecoins for safety, others want to get into new projects. Just make sure you’ve done your homework.

Rotating profits is fine as long as you’re confident in your choice. But yeah, 20 coins is pushing it. I’d rather go for fewer coins that I really believe in.
Be careful about greed, though. I've seen too many people lose big trying to flip profits. Wait for the right moment instead of rushing.

Finding the right strategy is key. I cash out when a coin doubles, keeping some for potential growth. Fewer coins mean more focus.
It’s a gamble, honestly. Rotating profits can work out, or it can backfire. Just be cautious about risky coins.
Do you really need 20 coins? Managing that much is tough. Diversity doesn’t mean throwing money at every coin you see.
Exactly! Holding too many alts can actually increase your risk. A few solid investments usually outperform trying to spread thin.
If you think a correction is coming, moving profits to stablecoins can protect your gains. Just don't invest in something overpriced.

+1 on the correction point. If you feel uncertain, secure your profits. Keeping it smart is key.
