Yeah I saw that. It’s wild how Jack Dorsey cut 40% at Block, but some got rehired. AI is definitely shaking things up, creating and destroying jobs at the same time.

AI is definitely faster than us, no doubt. But cutting 40%? Seems kinda drastic, right? I mean, they’re probably hiring back some folks. We gotta adapt though, learn new skills to stay relevant.
Tech companies are leaning into AI hard. Honestly, if you’re an employee, don’t think you’re irreplaceable. Skills matter now more than ever.
12% may not seem like a lot, but it’s real people losing their jobs. CEOs sometimes make these decisions like it’s a game, forgetting the actual impact on lives.

Exactly! AI is improving, we have to step up too. Remember when typewriters became obsolete? Those who adapted survived.
With AI on the rise, it’s no surprise layoffs are happening. It’s all about efficiency now... other companies are gonna follow suit.

True that. But it’s not just about replacing jobs. Yeah, some jobs will go, but AI’s creating roles for programmers and developers too.

It sucks to be laid off because of AI. Companies just want to cut costs, and we’re the ones who pay the price.

Businesses change, it’s a fact of life. Sometimes layoffs are necessary for survival, but it shouldn’t just be about greed.

More cuts are coming, it’s inevitable. But companies might regret it later. Microsoft’s been struggling after their AI push.
Surprised? Not really. Tech jobs are prime targets for AI. But some human skills can’t be replaced, right?
Competing with AI is tough. Better to use it to our advantage. Workers need to learn how to use AI effectively.
I think AI will create more jobs in the long run. New opportunities are popping up for those who learn the skills.
Yet, it’s clear that human jobs are at risk. I know someone who got laid off, but now they’re using AI to start a new career.
Banks are already using AI more than humans. It’s all about speed and saving money on salaries.
Not convinced AI is creating jobs. It’s definitely reducing the workforce. Companies are still spending a lot to integrate these systems.

I doubt it’s replacing higher-level jobs. More like junior roles and outsourced positions.

Shouldn’t ignore the fact that AI works faster and better in many cases. We can’t fight it.
