Just realized there's no point in buying high marketcap coins. I check Dexscreener's trending and look for marketcaps under 10k. I pick these because there’s usually a chance for new teams to open up a cto for them. Even if they dip a bit more, I can DCA down.
Exactly, just be sure to check the CA and see if teams are starting new ctos. Don't just grab low mc tokens without knowing if they're moving. You could end up with a dead token. Twitter is key to see if there's any action there before buying.
Lost around 3-4k on meme coins... Not good. Government should protect against rug pulls or something. Meme coins can be great but the risk is too high. Are you saying coins that are falling might get new ctos and get revived? If so, count me in, I'm desperate to make some cash with memes.
What a mess that coin is. Dropped over 97% in a day. If it’s not a scam, I don’t know what is. You’re gonna get hit with some bad tags if you keep promoting that kind of junk.
There’s tons of shitcoins under 10k marketcap. Throwing 20 bucks at random ones is a gamble. The chances of hitting a 10x are slim maybe one out of 500 survives the launch without a rug.
True, there are a lot of tokens being launched daily with low mc. Out of 100, maybe just 1 or 2 will be decent. It's like fishing without knowing if there are any fish in the river. Hitting a jackpot isn’t impossible but it's rare and not reliable.
So, I looked up the CA info on Dexscreener. The hype is high and there's an active community, but the mc isn’t moving much. Is it possible that smart money is quietly accumulating without spiking the mc?
Of course, not every coin will move. But you want to look for ones that someone’s picked up and is building a community over. It’s like rescuing pets left on the streets. Some teams will take over low mc coins and start shilling them.
Yeah, I see some slow buying happening. It’s not just one token, I have my eye on several where new ctos are being built. I prefer keeping my investments under 10k mc. Less risk for me!
Under 10k isn’t as safe as you think. When launching a new coin, it usually starts around 6-8k. I think a higher mc, like 100k, is a better starting point.
From my past experiences with Solana meme coins, I’ve made some profits by scalping between 10-15k mc. But then I take huge losses too. Either the devs sell off and the community leaves or it just dumps hard.
10k mc is high for me. I prefer 5k-7k, mostly 3k-4k. If a new team picks it up at that level, it usually won’t drop much further, which is why I like it.
You’re doing well, but remember, no method is foolproof. You’re lucky if you haven’t hit a landmine yet. Everyone messes up at some point. Meme coins are a risky playground.
Exactly! I avoid high market caps. Right now, I’m in a token with a 2.5k mc. If it doesn’t move, I can still sell without losing too much. As long as there’s an active team behind it, I feel hopeful.
Let’s see how your theory plays out. I’m gonna try it too and see how much I can gain with mc under 10k. Do you have any community links for the projects?
@gemecto has a community around this. I’m looking at more low mc coins, but only those with active ctos. I’m watching Twitter accounts to see if they’re shilling.
Those traders fuel the system. Let them sell low while the smart money buys high. Patience is key. Whenever I buy, it seems to drop, and when I sell, it spikes. Need to stick to your strategy.
Quick question how do I calculate profits? If I buy at 2.5k mc and sell at 100k or even 1 mil, how much do I really make? Is it 100x or even 1000x? Just trying to figure out the math.
